The Trusted Servants & Ethics

What Is Trusted Servant?
Becoming Ministers, Spiritual Healers and Earth Stewards, also known as Trusted Servants

Trusted Servants described.

“1. Recognition of Trusted Servants. In addition to its organizational Trusted Servants, be they designated officers or otherwise, congregations may have specialized Trusted Servants that could include those who devote more or their own time to, and help coordinate and facilitate the activities of other members of the congregations, in spiritual healing, ministry and earth stewardship.”

“2. Ideals of Caring, Sharing and Service. All Trusted Servants shall render the utmost respect for the integrity of all individuals, whether or not human, and support the holistic integration of all human communities within the natural ecological ecosystems of the planet, solar system, galaxy and universe. They, along with all members of the congregation, are encouraged to dispel, through both reasoned and intuitive knowledge, the ignorance that breeds fear, needless cravings, anger, rage, hatred, starvation, suffering, illness, abuse, cruelty, neglect, guilt, disease and wasting of life. They are all encouraged to reach for an understanding of the individual integrity protected and preserved but still within the ecological web of Gaiactic, Celestial, Galactic and Universal relationships.

ORDAINED MINISTERS

“1. Duties. The Assembly may ordain ministers who shall be affiliated with a member congregation and may be employed by, with or through congregations to assist, coordinate and facilitate ritual, ceremonial and religious activities at the pleasure of any participating congregation or congregations including private or personal activities for their members.”

PRACTITIONERS OF SPIRITUAL HEALING

“1. Duties. The Assembly may certify Practitioners of Spiritual Healing who shall be affiliated with a member congregation and may be employed by, with or through congregations to assist, coordinate and facilitate any healing activities at the pleasure of any participating congregation or congregations or their members.”

DIPLOMATS OF EARTH STEWARDSHIP

“1. Duties. The Assembly may appoint Diplomats of Earth Stewardship who shall be affiliated with a member congregation and may be employed by, with or through congregations to assist, coordinate and facilitate any Earth Stewardship activities at the pleasure of any participating congregation or congregations or their members.”

HOW TRUSTED SERVANTS ARE ORDAINED, CERTIFIED OR APPOINTED:

Ordination / Certification / Appointment. “Ministers wishing to be ordained (or Spiritual Healers who wish to be certified or Diplomats of Earth Stewardship who wish to be appointed) by the assembly shall need the recommendation of a member congregation, maintain good moral character, shall agree to maintain membership in the Convocation of Ministers and abide by the Standards of Honest and Fair Practices of the Assembly for all specialized Trusted Servants and seek to practice the ideals of caring, sharing and service.”

To become ordained as a Minister, or appointed as a Diplomat of Earth Stewardship or a Certified Spiritual Healer, besides being nominated by a member congregation, the candidate must sign a pledge of Honest and Fair practices. Each application has this pledge upon it and no certificate will issue until it is signed. The pledge generally requires the person to act in an honest, informed, responsible and professional manner, refraining from bringing harm to anyone through his or her actions or omissions and bringing ill repute to the SHES assembly or to the profession he or she has chosen as a SHES calling. It requires the person to cooperate with the Shes in any investigation of complaints of acts or omissions that violate the pledge and makes specific reference to refraining from the illegal sale or use of drugs or intemperate use of alcoholic or controlled substances that would affect the practice of his or her calling. A copy of the application to be a trusted servant is available from the International Assembly for more specific information.

Code of Ethics & Disciplines

What Is the Code of Ethics?
All persons who intend to be Ministers, Certified Spiritual Healers and Diplomats of Earth Stewardship are required to adhere to the following code of professional ethics.

CODE OF PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT FOR TRUSTED SERVANTS

Trusted Servants shall strive to be open and tolerant in all matters of the spirit, mind and expression, sharing rather than hoarding, facilitating rather than dominating, caring rather than neglecting, placing principles before personalities and allowing all others to find their own peace and spiritual sanctuary.

1. Servants should serve honestly and fairly. The following conduct of trusted servants fails to meet the standards of honest and fair practices applicable to all trusted servants ordained, certified or appointed by the assembly.

a. The commission of any act involving moral turpitude, dishonesty, or corruption relating to the practice of that servant’s activities, whether it constitutes a crime or not.

b. Misrepresentation or concealment of a material fact in obtaining ordination, appointment or certification or any continuance or reinstatement thereof.

c. Incompetence, negligence or malpractice in the conduct of affairs delegated to and accepted by such servant or assumed by such servant that results in an injury to any individual or creates an unreasonable risk of any individual being harmed.

d. The possession, prescription for use, sale, distribution or use of controlled substances or legend drugs in any way other than for legitimate or therapeutic purposes.

e. The conduct of servant activities while suffering from addiction to controlled substances, legend drugs or alcoholic beverages.

f. Failure to cooperate with disciplining authorities by:

(1) Not furnishing any papers or documents unless maintained in privileged status with the express approval of the competent individual to whom they pertain.

(2) Not furnishing in writing, upon request, a full and complete explanation including an explanation of any privilege claimed, covering the matter contained in any complaint filed with the disciplining authority.

(3) Not reasonably responding to inquiries of the disciplining authority whether or not the recipient of such information request is accused in any proceeding.

G. Failure to comply with a directive by the disciplinary authority or an agreement between the disciplinary authority for the discontinuance of any activity.

H. Misrepresentation or fraud in any aspect of the conduct of activity, business or profession that causes injury to any individual or risks harm to such individual.

I. Willful betrayal of privileged matters recognized as privilege by law or recognized custom of the assembly.

J. Abuse of any member of any congregation.

K. Failure to respect the legal and civil rights of any person.

L. Interference with an investigation or disciplinary proceeding by willful misrepresentation of facts before the disciplining authority or its authorized representative, or by any threats or harassment against any individual, congregation member or witness to prevent the provision of evidence in any disciplinary proceeding or any legal action of such disciplinary authority.

I agree to follow this code of professional ethics. I understand that this code of professional ethics does not bind me, or anyone else who takes it, to any religious dogma, particular faith or profession of faith or particular religious practice but this code does apply to the practice of my activities as a trusted servant while affiliated with a Spiritual Healers and Earth Stewards Congregation of my choice.

Disciplines

It will be noticed that the disciplining authority only extends to trusted servants appointed by the Assembly and does not extend to the congregations. While congregations may come and go as they chose, or may be asked to go if they threaten the Assembly as a whole, there is no authority to discipline a congregation or any individual member of any congregation or person who calls himself or herself a SHES.

DISCIPLINARY AUTHORITY DOES NOT EXTEND TO CONGREGATIONS OR INDIVIDUALS, BUT ONLY TO TRUSTED SERVANTS
